@EilishMccolgan I was in the stands that night. Such an amazing atmosphere! The entire stadium was on their feet cheering you on. Probably my favourite athletics moment that I was lucky to see live. 💙 218 views · 7 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

We set up the foundation shortly after the last Commonwealth Games, so it's great to see the impact it's made in such a short space of time. 🙌🏼 Current recipients: 💙 Lucy Fraser (4x100m) 💙 Rebecca Grieve (4x400m) 1.7K views · 30 likes · 0 reposts · 3 replies Open on X →

A moment I’ll never forget! 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Proud to be pulling on the Scotland vest again this summer in Glasgow. Preparation looks very different to 4yrs ago... as I navigate injury from London Marathon. I'm in a bigger race to make the start line… but I’ll be doing everything I can 74.8K views · 824 likes · 42 reposts · 40 replies Open on X →

What also makes this one so special is getting to be on the team alongside some incredible young athletes I’ve been lucky enough to support (in a very small way) through my sporting foundation Giving Back to Track. 1.2K views · 37 likes · 1 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

First session since London Marathon… (Lord help me!)😵😭 The last 3wks have been pretty rubbish running-wise with my toe, then illness, then another weird rash..😭But slowly building back! It wasn’t pretty but we got it done. The only way is up.. as it can't get any worse!🤣📈 https 41.5K views · 510 likes · 10 reposts · 13 replies Open on X →

What a weekend!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤩 A real honour to be the first Scottish Grand Marshal at the Tartan Parade in Edinburgh. Walking down the Royal Mile with over 2.5k people in procession was something I’ll never forget! @EilishMccolgan Is it because men are pacing women almost to finish line but men pacing men far short of that? 974 views · 0 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

@EilishMccolgan Hadn't clocked this. Is this rule set by the champs? Or individual governing bodies? It feels unnecessary. Every woman in a mass race has the same opportunity to run a qualifying time. As you say, women-only events make for slim pickings. 1.2K views · 9 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

Why do mens road 10K times qualify for Bham 2026 but not women? The men have pacers in these races so what's the difference? Track 10,000m races are becoming extinct like the dinosaurs. So why restrict women to “women-only” races while men have 100s of chances in mixed races? 65.5K views · 667 likes · 80 reposts · 21 replies Open on X →
