Just a reminder that GLM 5.3 Flash, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, Qwen 3.8 Next Flash, and even Qwen 3.8 27B are all outperforming (in both intelligence and capabilities) every model that was considered "frontier intelligence" in Xmas 2025 (just 10 months ago)

DeepSeek v4.1 flash is the first open-weight model I have used much more on a daily basis than closed-weight models from OpenAI and Anthropic. It is a MAJOR problem for US labs.
◆ Very fast over API (often 150-200+ tps)
◆ Very capable model, can do long-horizon + multiple https:

The target DIEM supply has been increased to 40,000.
• More space for DIEM to be minted at better rates.
• Unlocks more DIEM capacity per VVV token. https://t.co/8Y2PEWh50V

Frontiers are wild, uncontrollable, anarchic.
Frontiers are not balanced, regulated, unified.
Frontiers do not have embedded evaluators.
Frontiers cannot be paced.
That's what makes them frontiers.

I can’t stress enough how little an idea matters compared to the agency of the people executing the idea.
I have had the privilege of knowing and sometimes even working with some of the most successful people (by various metrics).

This is not the case with Deepseek and Moonshot models on Venice
We run these ourselves or directly with independent ZDR partners, thus private.
Privacy paradigm depends on the model host, not the model.
