It’s funny that people actually defend this stuff still. You’d think they would say “no this isn’t fair Adorno is more nuanced” but instead they double down. They really think this is dead on, that it’s truth and not just nonsense. 10.4K views · 141 likes · 5 reposts · 9 replies Open on X →

People are treating it like a meme but Adorno is just right, and he made clear arguments for each of the three cases. - Odysseus prefigures the bourgeois individual through rational calculation, self-preservation and mastery over nature - Jazz embodies the liberal promise of 203.8K views · 2.4K likes · 171 reposts · 63 replies Open on X →

@donaldp1917 The only path towards the Left succeeding in the United States is by convincing liberal/progressive-minded people that the Left represents what they care about more than liberal politicians. Giving the reins to them is a recipe for disaster 685 views · 4 likes · 2 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

"But we want power NOW! Power is all that matters!" well, I have bad news for you, you won't have real power under an AOC admin either. She can't even oppose a ghoul like Hakeem Jeffreys. 7.4K views · 251 likes · 21 reposts · 8 replies Open on X →

@donaldp1917 I just love this approach to ending the opening paragraph: "we have a decent shot at electing AOC President, thus completely destroying our own movement almost overnight." 876 views · 25 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

Let’s the libs take the reins after 2028 and clean up the mess they’ve created through the MAGA movement they’ve given rise to (which is faltering anyway). Let’s then focus on building a real opposition in congress and striking out a line of demarcation from the libs. 34.4K views · 109 likes · 2 reposts · 6 replies Open on X →

The correct stance for the DSA left to take regarding the AOC endorsement was 1) no, we shouldn’t endorse AOC for president and 2) if the rest of DSA wants to they can bring it to convention if she announces. https://t.co/Bqfi22smJt 19.3K views · 275 likes · 27 reposts · 11 replies Open on X →
