I’m a big fan of the Ray Peat carrot salad. I like to switch it up with different types of oils and vinegar. Olive oil and celery vinegar is my current favorite. The $5 Y peeler continues to be one of my favorite kitchen utensils. https://t.co/09FZD5nSEX

Does anyone in NYC have extra tickets to the Fontaines DC shows this Sunday or Monday? If so I will happily purchase them from you. 1.8K views · 6 likes · 0 reposts · 5 replies Open on X →
It’s shocking how often I visit a startup’s meticulously designed + coded website, scroll the entire home page, and still have no idea what they do. I’m all for good design, but it holds little weight if you haven’t made your product legible. 1.7K views · 21 likes · 0 reposts · 2 replies Open on X →
My takeaways: Local files in markdown are faster for agents to read and use fewer tokens. It also means you own your context and nobody can create a walled garden that prevents you from using it somewhere. Ownership ≠ privacy, since the context gets fed in regardless. @myles_snider Main reason I switched is Obsidian is free, self hostable, and model agnostic. I know Notion connects well with all the frontier models, but I was worried at some point they could close that garden and force me to use their AI tools. 6.5K views · 21 likes · 0 reposts · 3 replies Open on X →
@myles_snider I work at Notion and I think Obsidian is a wonderful piece of software, especially for single person usage. At Notion we focus on collaboration and on making a broadly accessible tool. Personally, I find that in any situation where I need other people to have acces 12.2K views · 99 likes · 0 reposts · 7 replies Open on X →
@myles_snider Only reason why you want files is to own your data, and local will always have less latency than an API call. Regardless, Obsidian is a subpar product. Use Notion for convenience and create MD backups of your data in a Github repo, which an agent can do for you. 7.6K views · 36 likes · 0 reposts · 6 replies Open on X →
Can someone explain to me whether there’s a real technical advantage to having a durable context layer as pure markdown files (like Obsidian) vs just doing it in Notion? Are agents that much better at using markdown, or does it not really make a difference at this point? 242.7K views · 348 likes · 5 reposts · 104 replies Open on X →
Own your context. Rent the intelligence. You (and your team) likely use multiple agents to get work done. The key is to keep building and owning the shared context between them. It makes every agent you use sharper, and you can carry it with you to whatever agent you try next. h
