tony fernandes is one of my favorite entrepreneurs that no one talks about the amount of shit this guy has survived / attempted over the last 25 years is ridiculous > spent 14 years in the music industry & had zero airline experience > mortgaged his house + put in his own http

@onlinedopamine Marc Lou is a particularly egregious case because credit to the guy, he can attention-whore his ass off like no-one else and let him keep the money he made with those skills However, if you remembered that whole thing with Shipfast auth being bypassable via AVATA 3.5K views · 45 likes · 0 reposts · 4 replies Open on X →

a lot of dev types are suffering from cognitive dissonance historically, the deal was simple: > get good at coding > be compensated well for it > potentially launch a saas & the only marketing you do is talking about new features or product hunt launches that reality is gone

@onlinedopamine @levelsio @marckohlbrugge It’s true that we all work from home now. Since post covid, most of the people I know here who were always in coworking like @dannypostma started to get a nice office at home and never went back to a coworking (except when we travel). @onlinedopamine @levelsio @marckohlbrugge coworking spaces around canggu are so bad it doesn't make any sense to go there. e.g. @BWorkBali will charge you $200+, the internet will work only 50% times and staff will gaslight you into thinking you are the problem tropical nomad d 3.1K views · 17 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

idea for anyone to take: do pocket fm but for history been listening to rest is history and a couple of other podcast for years now replay value on these is insane cause you know, it's history & people wanna learn about it an ai knows substantially more about history than any 29K views · 203 likes · 1 reposts · 12 replies Open on X →

Nah this is insane 😭 Pocket FM makes 10,000 AI marketing videos/mo and their cost per user did not go up → $500M ARR → 250M listeners → 70% of the money from the US they went from 25,000 hours of content a year to 2.5 MILLION hours with AI and people stayed longer. https
