As expected, the lack of rainfall has brought worsening drought conditions across the region. More of North Texas is now in a severe drought.
8th longest streak without measurable rainfall at DFW. Tropical moisture could bring an end to that streak today. https:/

6:30am update: RAIN! Scattered showers and storms east & southeast of DFW have arrived. Remnants of Edouard have arrived in North Texas. A few counties southeast of DFW are under a Flood Watch through the early afternoon. Edouard downgraded from a Tropical Depression overnight. h
