For 18 years, I've never had a college coach or scout ask me about a player's exit velo https://t.co/IxsvRBRfny

@CoachJeffLeach I coached 8u this year and we gave each player a “growth report” at the end of each season. Each coach wrote some comments and thanked them for playing. https://t.co/4EWyCYKAjf

@CoachJeffLeach Like the dads that never once played catch with the kid and wonder why he’s not starting SS. 3.4K views · 17 likes · 1 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

@CoachJeffLeach 8U. Have fun, play the game, unless this is an elite travel squad (which shouldn’t exist) the reality is that maybe 1 kid on that team will play HS. Teach them to give their best effort, be a great teammate and make it fun. It’s 8U! 5.5K views · 15 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

@CoachJeffLeach That would be more development than 99% of programs/ teams/ situations I’m aware of being involved in youth baseball for 20 years. Feel free to have the parents call me and I will confirm. Nice work Coach Leach 2.7K views · 7 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

Coached 8u ball. Every kid played 3-4 positions. I did swing breakdown vids & provided drills. Gave end of season development report w/strengths & opportunities. Followed with a call to discuss w/parents. One dad told another he thought his kid would get more development. 😅 143.6K views · 290 likes · 5 reposts · 36 replies Open on X →
