@ESL_fairy @PaulCalandra Imagine being naive enough to be rambling on and on while on a US platform, with an Apple device while sipping a Tim’s or Starbucks while planning a Winners, Costco, Best Buy or Home Depot trip in your Ford GM or Tesla. Get a clue.

@ESL_fairy @PaulCalandra I’d like to know that since I ordered three sets of duotangs at the higher price. Among other things.

@ESL_fairy @PaulCalandra It's not just that prices are higher in the portal, it's making teachers jump through hoops online to get the advertised sale price! 🤦🏼♀️

The Doug Ford government has manufactured a crisis in #OntEd so that education workers and parents are now worrying about strikes and overpriced, back-ordered Staples supplies instead of focusing on welcoming children back to school. https://t.co/IuYVadCbIU

In case you need the #OntEd “list of 200 items teachers get for the cheapest price”:
“221 items, provides no product numbers for exact comparisons and includes duplicate or inconsistent entries.”

Ah... "mistakes" and not just a way for an American company to get as much money as possible. I'd love to know if @PaulCalandra will be navigating a refund in price difference for all of my #OntEd colleagues who ordered their items at the "mistake" price?https://t.co/hrSX4HKj6E

It never gets easier to tell an #OntEd parent that their child will not be receiving any EA support.
Families worry about their children’s safety and learning needs. They struggle to understand why their child’s needs are not being prioritized.

Cuts to education are not just numbers on some spreadsheet. These funding shortfalls directly impact our kids and their future success. Students in #OntEd deserve so much better. https://t.co/kxUMXgZury

FYI: “reporting high prices to your principal” is not going to accomplish anything. #OntEd school principals are not in charge of pricing at Staples. Shame on this government for its shoddy procurement plan and for giving Ontario funds to a US company. https://t.co/S8sEsC4yKv

Thank you to all of the workers who have been helping to fix things up after yesterday’s big storm!

#OntEd Educators: if you’ve never written to your MPP or Doug Ford, today’s the day to do so.

@ESL_fairy Imagine if they had just given teachers the money to shop around!

To be clear: there is no actual physical “Staples gift card” so teachers can’t just go to the store and get the cheaper price using a gift card. Teachers are required to order through the #OntEd Ministry of Education Portal. What a waste of taxpayer money.

Our taxpayer dollars are being spent at an American company (in the middle of a trade war) that offers better deals to folks walking in off the street than to teachers ordering through the Ontario Ministry of Education portal. Make it make sense!!! #OntEd https://t.co/xMEZ32k5Ns

I don’t believe in “bad kids”. I believe in struggling kids, confused kids, overwhelmed kids, terrified kids, and kids who need explicit skills instruction and other supports in order to successfully meet my expectations. I believe in kids.
