Jack has kindly made this video because he is a true professional and I forgot. Anyway, just to say yes!! We are going to eat in a place that was once a Britpop institution and is now a bit different. I am looking forward to talking to Jack about 90s nonsense and Uncommon People!

The idea is, yes, it's a mixtape - 20 songs, so 20 chapters on the artists who made them - and to move out from the notion that everything was just Oasis, Blur, Pulp and maybe Suede. Take a more "Select" mag approach to 90's music and creative excitement

There's stuff on what it was like being a music journalist at the time, where "Britpop" came from and why nobody involved wants to be associated with the name, what changed so that alternative culture could suddenly dominate the mainstream
