If Netanyahu wins, they talk to him and then and only then sanctions.

The timing of the UK's so-called "reset" with Israel (which is rumoured to include sanctions against Israeli settlements in the West Bank) seems rather strange to me.
It may be smarter to wait until after the election, and see what the new government is saying and doing.
