I was a kid on 9/11. My parents asked me to turn on TV and I watched it live from the moment first tower hit to both of the collapses. No footage can ever capture the reality of that day. It is true that the world changed that day, and we knew it as events were unfolding. 7.6K views · 42 likes · 1 reposts · 6 replies Open on X →

@rakyll You can only be the adult in one room at a time, and the gain from automating the work is more rooms. So the ceiling stops being how good the agents get and becomes how many rooms one adult can sit in. 218 views · 1 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

The more and more the work gets automated, it seems like our jobs are becoming more and more about being the adult in the room. 13.4K views · 285 likes · 5 reposts · 20 replies Open on X →

@rakyll Compute capacity is the new distribution channel. Intuition without watts sits in a queue behind someone who bought interconnect first. 44 views · 0 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

@rakyll Yeah... felt that one. Skill and intuition only get you so far when the GPUs are reserved for someone else. 🥲 253 views · 1 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

There hasn’t been a better time if you have intuition, skill, knowledge, reputation, and compute capacity. There hasn’t been a worse time if you have it all but not compute capacity. 10.3K views · 201 likes · 8 reposts · 6 replies Open on X →

Interesting when you think about the fact that when machines solve hardest problems autonomously, they cut humans and human creativity out of the loop. Breakthroughs commonly happen when curious people explore a topic and get inspired to do something else. 8.3K views · 112 likes · 3 reposts · 7 replies Open on X →
