@teedubya Being neutral was half of HF's value. 18M devs stayed because it wasn't anyone's. Wonder how quickly the AMD and Chinese model crowd starts mirroring somewhere else. 5 views · 1 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

@teedubya Seems like Nvidia is planning of owning a good portion of the current AI bubble. 28 views · 1 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

@teedubya The real test is whether developers still feel like Hugging Face belongs to them. 51 views · 1 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

Nvidia acquired Hugging Face for $12.93 billion. In doing so, they are gaining control of a platform used by more than 18 million developers to share and deploy AI models. https://t.co/5JiOwrHK3Z 8.4K views · 166 likes · 35 reposts · 61 replies Open on X →

@teedubya Cheaper cached tokens only help if your workload is cache-shaped. Lots of "agentic" workflows are long tails of unique context, where you'll see closer to the 25% than the 45%. Worth measuring your actual cache hit rate before rewriting the budget. 8 views · 1 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

@teedubya Price and capability move on different axes, so a price cut does not have to mean a weaker model. It does change how many attempts a team will fund per task. Cheap retries can hide bad task design. Are you seeing shorter answers, or less reasoning? 24 views · 1 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

@teedubya Cheaper doesn't always mean dumber. Could be better distillation or inference optimization. But Anthropic staying silent on benchmark deltas while cutting prices, that silence is the red flag. 11 views · 1 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

The race to build autonomous agents just got 45 percent cheaper, and Anthropic is betting that lower prices matter more than raw intelligence. Is Claude getting dumbed down, under the guise of a new model? https://t.co/24nFHzmgRn 9.1K views · 174 likes · 29 reposts · 83 replies Open on X →

Just got access to @XMoney! Last time was the original X card. Think that’s worth a bonus @elonmusk? 😂 How many of these OG cards are still in existence, you think? https://t.co/NDRfvHRVrU 7.6K views · 176 likes · 28 reposts · 68 replies Open on X →
