@MatSavant Great analysis as always. My pushback would be that we haven't adapted the rules with the addition of the 3-point takedown. I still think it's the right risk/reward value relative to other scoring categories. While there was an increase in the overall number of points scored, there was a decrease in the number of actual scoring events. But it gets worse. I lied above when I said scoring went down in every category. There is one category where scoring did go up for the 3pt takedown era. Want to guess what it is? Stalling penalties.
