@SenEricSchmitt It’s a bad policy, Senator. We should support them by taking less taxes and allowing an economy that doesn’t require dual incomes to flourish. 510 views · 110 likes · 3 reposts · 5 replies Open on X →

Through both Congress and the Administration there's much more we can do on this, and I’ll continue to work on solutions. 1.9K views · 40 likes · 4 reposts · 26 replies Open on X →

Conservatism cannot simply mean maximizing economic efficiency. We conserve things. Families. Communities. Marriage. Children. A nation worth passing on. Markets are extraordinarily powerful tools. They are tools, but not the purpose of civilization. 4.3K views · 49 likes · 11 reposts · 5 replies Open on X →

Our aims haven’t changed: We must build an economy where Americans can marry, have kids, own a home, and choose how to raise their families. Government should stop discouraging families for choosing a parent over a daycare center. Ultimately, our economy should serve families. 2.3K views · 42 likes · 6 reposts · 7 replies Open on X →

And no, economic growth is not the highest good. A country can have rising GDP while young people cannot afford homes, delay marriage, have fewer children than they want, and spend less time with their families. Those numbers would look good. The society would not. 36K views · 70 likes · 11 reposts · 8 replies Open on X →

“Government shouldn’t subsidize child care at all.” The government already spends billions subsidizing outside child care. The question is why Washington should favor childcare providers doing the work versus Moms and Dads. 4.3K views · 43 likes · 6 reposts · 8 replies Open on X →

“But this will discourage work.” Raising children IS work. Perhaps, the most important work. We have spent decades measuring every human good by labor-force participation and GDP. A mother raising her kids at home may not show up in GDP, but that does not make it worthless. 8.4K views · 55 likes · 9 reposts · 12 replies Open on X →

Why? Because our nation is more than just GDP and the second by second analysis of the stock market. 2.6K views · 31 likes · 6 reposts · 3 replies Open on X →

The principle here is simple: Government should not put its thumb on the scale against parents raising their own children. If we subsidize one form of child care, we should not pretend that care suddenly has no value when Mom or Dad provides it. 2.7K views · 84 likes · 13 reposts · 25 replies Open on X →

Right now, policy supports child care so parents can leave home and work. But if a family decides the best thing for their children is for Mom or Dad to stay home? Washington largely says: you’re on your own. That makes no sense. 3.6K views · 96 likes · 20 reposts · 20 replies Open on X →

I strongly support VP Vance and the Trump Admin's push to support our parents who stay home to raise their kids. 🧵 75.6K views · 883 likes · 140 reposts · 618 replies Open on X →

President Choi is right. College sports cannot continue operating under a patchwork of court rulings and constantly changing rules. Congress must step in to restore order and establish clear, enforceable rules that protect student-athletes and preserve college sports. 9.6K views · 87 likes · 12 reposts · 14 replies Open on X →

Thank you President Trump for approving this relief that will help Southeast and South-Central MO communities recover from the devastating flooding that hit our state in early July. I’ll keep working with the Administration to bring home critical recovery funds. 5K views · 250 likes · 40 reposts · 17 replies Open on X →

Corruption and fraud are endemic to these programs. The solutions are simple: - End the “duration of status” scam - End OPT Why should American students have their spots in admissions and classes be taken up by foreign “students” in their 15th year of undergrad? 8.5K views · 889 likes · 175 reposts · 29 replies Open on X →

ICE has flagged over 10,000 potential cases tied to suspect employers from audits of the top 25 OPT employers alone. An employer in Texas claimed to employ only 3 OPT students, but records showed over 500 foreign students listing it as their workplace. https://t.co/ED245t9Hxp 23.2K views · 1.2K likes · 355 reposts · 39 replies Open on X →

One Georgia “company” claimed a PO box as its office, had an empty malware-flagged website, and claimed dozens of student employees. In New Jersey, another “company” claimed 150+ F-1 OPT students but couldn’t explain who they were or what work they did. Fake jobs. Real visas. h 9.2K views · 738 likes · 189 reposts · 12 replies Open on X →

How bad is it? Pay-to-stay scams where "schools" charge foreigners miniscule rates for fake enrollment so they never attend class but keep legal status. ICE busted Koreatown networks enabling hundreds. And other similar fraud rings are running the same scam nationwide. https://t 10.8K views · 808 likes · 167 reposts · 11 replies Open on X →

DHS calls them exactly that: "forever" students, perpetually enrolled to remain in the U.S. No repeated vetting. Weak oversight. Past admins let this drag on since the 1970s "duration of status" rule. The Trump Admin is ending it. https://t.co/7tcL74nqKT 16.7K views · 1.3K likes · 203 reposts · 19 replies Open on X →

Foreign nationals on F-1 visas staying enrolled 15-25+ years to live here indefinitely. Thousands of foreign "students" who entered 2000-2010 STILL have active F-1 status as of 2025. This is ridiculous and must end. https://t.co/GRL2fKDYYJ 28.3K views · 1.8K likes · 343 reposts · 40 replies Open on X →
