If #mufc are to change head coach for the third season running then there has to be a change above that role https://t.co/B0uN15rEUR 78.1K views · 3.4K likes · 395 reposts · 74 replies Open on X →

#mufc technically ended the transfer window with a stronger squad but it was undermined by half of the signings being injured at the time that they signed. Giving Darlow a run-out and the continued absence of Baleba have been costly. 67.5K views · 1.2K likes · 65 reposts · 78 replies Open on X →

Carrick on Lacey: 'It's a shame that Shea's moment, such a great moment for him, his family, friends and the whole academy, to have an academy player come in and have a moment like that, it gets a bit lost, unfortunately, which it won't for him when things settle down.' #mufc 46.2K views · 606 likes · 18 reposts · 4 replies Open on X →

Carrick on whether he was sold short with the squad: 'No. The team's on me. So when we win, people say I'm doing a good job, and if we don't win or we don't get results, then a lot of it's on me. So I accept that, I'm not hiding away from any of that.' #mufc 57.3K views · 526 likes · 18 reposts · 50 replies Open on X →

#mufc had genuine momentum going into the summer and squandered it. Too many missteps in the window and they sold Carrick short. Questions have to be asked of Wilcox, at the very least. But these defeats are on the underperforming coach and players. 99.2K views · 3.8K likes · 411 reposts · 128 replies Open on X →

Carrick to Sky Sports on JJ Gabriel: 'We have to be a little bit careful on that one. He's a 15-year-old boy. It's more about the welfare, the care and the attention of JJ as a child really. He's certainly a young man.' #mufc 79.5K views · 914 likes · 34 reposts · 15 replies Open on X →

A lot of United fans started booing the players when they started their usual lap of honour (!). Most who were still present started applauding as they made their way around the pitch but supporters rightly furious with that performance. #mufc 67.7K views · 1.2K likes · 57 reposts · 43 replies Open on X →

The VAR audio from the derby is extraordinary. At no point does it occur to Matt Donohue that Fernandez is offside, never mind interfering. He even checks if Ndiaye is offside around 15 seconds before the goal. Unfortunately, the officials remain more of a problem than the tech. 56.9K views · 2.8K likes · 246 reposts · 36 replies Open on X →

On Gabriel, some outside of #mufc suspect he and his team have engineered this to get a better deal. Not beyond realms of possibility but a daft way for a Year 11 kid and his entourage to go about it (unless they’re absolutely insistent on a move so are sanguine burning bridges). 94.1K views · 1.3K likes · 48 reposts · 21 replies Open on X →

Third-best Bond film after From Russia with Love and Goldfinger. Impeccable experience watching it with a live orchestra and David Arnold playing at the Royal Albert Hall nine years ago, and it’s back there again in December. 55.5K views · 102 likes · 6 reposts · 4 replies Open on X →

#mufc fear JJ Gabriel could end up at City. Agencies were alerted to a possible departure some time ago https://t.co/tYDKSVZOLa 87.6K views · 849 likes · 74 reposts · 48 replies Open on X →

Unfortunately for #mufc, this had been brewing with JJ Gabriel. They can't say they weren't warned about dealing with his father https://t.co/QjkemfbcYC 701.8K views · 2.6K likes · 211 reposts · 74 replies Open on X →

#mufc set to not kick up any more of a fuss after ProRef held their hands up. Coincidentally, Fernandes scored a similarly controversial 'offside' goal that stood after VAR intervened in the January 2023 derby. Both goals shouldn't have stood. https://t.co/ua1UxEoRdT

United have bigger problems (the full backs, reactive and passive management, no focal point) but this is nonsensical when Martinez's positioning is influenced by Fernandez's presence - because he attempts to play the ball https://t.co/BsJRPEwLWK 42.3K views · 244 likes · 19 reposts · 6 replies Open on X →

That was amateur hour from #mufc. City managed the game masterfully, particularly the balance between defence and attack after Haaland scored. United players and head coach passive again. Full backs not up to it and Sesko sent on too late. An undeniably bad start. 58.2K views · 1.2K likes · 118 reposts · 90 replies Open on X →
