On Friday 31st July, a United States Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II crashed short of the runway at MCAS Miramar, California. The pilot successfully ejected using the Martin-Baker US16E Ejection Seat.  Earlier today, a Hungarian JAS-39C Gripen crashed under unknown circumstances
