Last week, Pakistani government ministers and senior military figures gave increasingly bullish statements, confirming their “unconditional” commitment to the pact & saying Islamabad would go to “any extent” to defend Saudi Arabia. But can they afford? https://t.co/dcW4O0PiHP 4.8K views · 32 likes · 10 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

Just to make it clear that I am not defending the rule of the Baloch Nationalists. But truth is they were not allowed to smoothly rule. They served for less than 6.5 years in 55 years of history. The basic question should be asked to Jams of Lasbela who have been in power for decades and served as Chief ministers for more than 9 years— what did they do for their own district Lasbela? There was not 1 trauma centre when 27 people were burnt alive https://t.co/lwaplqrWZl 222 views · 3 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

Let’s take 55 years of history since BLN became a province. Even I added Nawab Bugti in the list because Balochistan National Alliance ( BNA) supported the govt. & going with that argument establishment backed Jam of Lasbela (Qadir, Yousaf & Jam Kamal) ruled as CM for 9 years. 673 views · 0 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

If you combine the rule of all Baloch nationalist CMs that were less than 6.5 years in 80 years of history. First elected CM Attaullah Mengal tenure was for 9 months. Nawab Bugti 18 months. Akthar Mengal ruled for 18 months. Dr Malik served as CM for 2.5 years. 5.1K views · 37 likes · 7 reposts · 2 replies Open on X →
