These Items usually have a very consistent rise in the first days/weeks.
It's completely fine to sell whenever you are happy with the profit. I usually aim to sell during the first WL weekend but that is not necessarily the peak.

It's not only kits though. Any kind of stadium item can have value: Badges, Balls, Stadiums etc.
For example last year:
UCL Ball: 800 Coins
Galatasaray Badge: 4.000 Coins
Only something you can throw bids on during Webapp and sell a few days later for profit :)

I don't have any numbers to prove it but it looks like last year odds for club items were especially low.
