Update: Despite the lack of a public response or DM from @opensea, it appears they have looked into the issue I uncovered and fixed at least some of the broken URL used in their v1 contract. One of the 69 NFTs in my wallet remains broken (uses the https://t.co/YnOvtnRruo domain).

Did you know that many NFTs minted on OpenSea in recent years are now technically broken? The media URLs in the metadata no longer exist. @opensea hides the issue by displaying its own cached version but no 3rd-party platform can display them. Be aware of how your NFTs are stored
