Okay! Nice trailer. This looks like it’s exactly what it needs to be: a good time with a lot of Fighting. Worst thing about adaptations of Fighting Game movies is they tend to feature shockingly very little fighting (which is why the original MK is so good: they fought a lot). 10K views · 136 likes · 8 reposts · 2 replies Open on X →
100% agree. I’ve been lamenting in my own streams for wuite a while now that I feel like our own fanbase doesn’t know how to discuss our favorite hobby in a mature, intelligent fashion. FGC discourse is largely juvenile and immature, and I don’t mean that it’s just name calling 15.4K views · 218 likes · 29 reposts · 14 replies Open on X →
If you think the Yellow Devil is too annoying and too difficult, toughen up and learn to play a real video game. (Also an excuse for me to always tell the story that he was not named anywhere in the Mega Man instructions, so my brother and I called him the Sunkist Monster. LOL!) 5.1K views · 59 likes · 2 reposts · 7 replies Open on X →
This looks awesome. Haha. Can’t say I was as big of a He-Man fan as I was of Transformers, but I collected them and watched the cartoon a lot. This definitely hits the right nostalgia factor. 8K views · 91 likes · 6 reposts · 3 replies Open on X →
The FGC has been really negative as of recent and I have found it very draining. I find it hard to be motivated to have constructive or positive discussions when everyone is mad as hell about everything 😭 141.4K views · 1.1K likes · 77 reposts · 66 replies Open on X →
Please, @ArcSystemWorksU and @MARVELTokon, I beg of you! 😅😅 Let L + U also deflect Crossover Counters like pressing L + A does. You would be a hero to so many joystick users! LOL! 3.4K views · 4 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →
@jchensor @EastwoodInnit I love stuff like this, as someone who used to do combat sports it’s so cool when the boundary between fighting games and Fighting blur. Especially effective when adrenaline is high eg during tense, last touch situations 3.8K views · 37 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →
@jchensor https://t.co/YMtRACu8HG Here's a clip of GSP talking explicitly about frame data. 13.6K views · 44 likes · 3 reposts · 2 replies Open on X →
@jchensor suprising how much of the fgc dont indulge in combat sports when the similarities between them are so close in both a mental & strategic sense. Combat sports fans will complain about "running" & "point fighting" in the same way that fgc complains abt zoning. its all the 6.9K views · 82 likes · 0 reposts · 3 replies Open on X →
I’ve shared this before, but every time it shows up it’s worth sharing again. Fighting Games are just like this. This is overloading the Mental Stack. Obviously your actions are limited in Fighting Games, so you have to feint by creative means. Crouching for half a second, 381.4K views · 4.3K likes · 391 reposts · 27 replies Open on X →
GSP on Feinting. Mastering feinting is what separates high level fighters from bums. You're literally sending your opponent's nervous system into overload. Feinting works because the brain has to guess the attack from early cues like shoulder, hip, and weight shift before the h
