@sola_chad Nah. It's just that Sola Scriptura, by definition, has to be in Scripture. It's not. Also, Christians prior to the "Reformation" did not believe Sola Scriptura, so, that's 1,500 years. Lastly, even Martin Luther saw the negative effects of Sola Scriptura noting peasant

@sola_chad Claiming these doctrines have no biblical basis simply isn’t true.
• Purgatory: 2 Maccabees 12:43–46; 1 Cor. 3:12–15; Matt. 12:32
• Papacy: Matt. 16:18–19; Isa. 22:20–22; Luke 22:31–32; John 21:15–17
• Veneration of relics: 2 Kings 13:20–21; Acts 5:15; Acts 19:11–12

Why do Catholics and EO's hate Sola Scriptura? Because they know they can't justify these unbiblical beliefs:
· Purgatory
· The papacy
· Relic "veneration"
· Prayers to the dead
· Sinlessness of Mary
· Apostolic succession
· Perpetual virginity of Mary
What did I miss?

@sola_chad Nothing in the bible said it had the shape of man or anything like, this is the anthropomorphism we give to Gods, Aliens or anything we think exists outside us.

@sola_chad Gives me a moment of pause, considering why God won’t let you see his face and how it might kill you

@sola_chad That's not accurate.
The Searphim are constantly on fire.
They have 6 wings - 2 to cover their faces, 2 to cover their bodies, and 2 to fly.
They all have different heads - an ox, a humanoid, an eagle, and a lion.

@sola_chad Men bomb the shit out of countries where children are killed daily. Yet they are here pretending to care about these 3 particular children because they get to blame a woman.

@sola_chad Lindsay Clancy is doing to white women what Karmelo Anthony did to black folks. There is no coming back from this.

I totally understand why for centuries men never allowed women to vote, own land, and in some cultures even speak in public.

My Messy Testimony:
I grew up in small military town in south Alabama. Regular kid, regular family. We went to church some but we weren’t committed. At 12 yrs old, I heard a fiery sermon and walked the aisle and repeated a prayer. Got baptized and thought I was right with God.
