I do not like this one so well. All he does is yell, yell, yell. I will not have this one about. When he comes in I put him out.

I have a Game Design Pitch for a Cooperative Puzzle Game based on network desyncs... it will NOT sell well, but for a very narrow community it would be a direct hit. 2.4K views · 73 likes · 1 reposts · 6 replies 03 Sep 2026 · Open on X →
The X-Files had a spin-off called The Lone Gunmen. In the pilot, there is an attempt to fly a plane into the World Trade Center. It aired in March of 2001, 6 months -BEFORE- 9/11?!?! https://t.co/vp5kaa9TZZ 6K views · 90 likes · 3 reposts · 12 replies 27 Aug 2026 · Open on X →
The number of people that will just casually denounce someone else's parenting style as harmful or cruel or disqualifying is mind-boggling to me. Fuck off and mind your own business. @32nds I've always been curious: Why does Halo 2 feel so much better to move and aim in, compared to 3? Scanning surroundings with a BR in 2 feels crisp, sharp, fluid, responsive, in a way where 3 feels... something. Delayed. Lagged. "Floaty." Processed. @32nds Even Halo Reach how it retconned the story from Nylund’s Fall of Reach novel was pretty controversial. Did any devs ever say why they completely retconned the book lore? Is it true that the Bungie devs resented all the people brought on by Microsoft including Nylund? 6.1K views · 34 likes · 0 reposts · 5 replies 18 Aug 2026 · Open on X →
@32nds How much did context fatigue play a role? I imagine working on the same franchise for so long might have amplified the sense that there was nowhere else to go. 4.9K views · 48 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies 18 Aug 2026 · Open on X →
Honestly, the reason I moved on from the franchise after Halo 3 was because I had no idea where it should go next, either. The story was told. The gameplay was perfected. (As in completely realized, not flawless.) The concepts had been explored. Time to drift off into the sunset. 157.9K views · 3.2K likes · 152 reposts · 153 replies 18 Aug 2026 · Open on X →
@32nds @NilesSankey You should really look up the development of combat evolved. Microsoft had a major hand in development from the jump. A lot of the things you like about Halo comes from Microsoft being heavily involved, whether good or bad. 140.8K views · 95 likes · 3 reposts · 29 replies 18 Aug 2026 · Open on X →

@32nds @NilesSankey I would also imagine the culture of the office was aligned with game dev rather than political activism. 1.5K views · 13 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies 17 Aug 2026 · Open on X →
@NilesSankey This is all true. I would add that the prerequisites for building a team like Halo-era Bungie (ie freedom to explore, risk of failure, lack of corporate interference, external demands on studio resources, stable leadership, merit-based hiring, etc) do NOT exist at 209K views · 6.9K likes · 182 reposts · 38 replies 17 Aug 2026 · Open on X →
