Never was able to loose weight like I am now, and enjoy everything I eat. Don't miss the ca 296 views · 9 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

Calling a ketogenic diet “unsustainable” because many people stop following it is intellectually lazy. First, there is no single ketogenic diet. A tightly controlled therapeutic diet for childhood epilepsy is not the same as an adult eating meat, eggs, fish, dairy and low-carb 14.2K views · 243 likes · 24 reposts · 31 replies Open on X →

I believe in lowering LDL. I've spent 20+ years as a cardiologist helping high-risk patients drive their ApoB down. And yet I'm regularly seen as anti-statin, anti-LDL. Let me explain why this is so important. 🧵 55.5K views · 179 likes · 11 reposts · 23 replies Open on X →

The results of this morning’s daily journaling session revolved around a question I’ve been thinking about a lot lately: How can I continue improving both my cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength without simply doing more? In other words: How can I get the most return 1.9K views · 17 likes · 2 reposts · 7 replies Open on X →

For years, one of my health goals was to “walk more.” But “walk more” isn’t really a goal. I would make an effort, walk more for a while and then gradually do less. It ebbed and flowed because I had never defined what “more” meant or committed myself to a measurable standard. h 1.1K views · 21 likes · 3 reposts · 6 replies Open on X →
This afternoon, I’ll have 3–5 minutes to inspire about 25 colleagues to begin—or recommit to—resistance training. I don’t want to simply fill the time with facts. I want to leave them with one idea they’ll remember. If you had those 3–5 minutes, what would you tell them? 4.1K views · 52 likes · 2 reposts · 56 replies Open on X →
