@US_Stormwatch We could also just caught off the handful of farming conglomerates using most of the water to grow low value alfalfa to sell to China.
That would be the easy fix.

Glen Canyon Dam's diversion tunnels closed in 1963.
Lake Powell held almost no water that day.
It reached full capacity only in 1980.
The water level today is almost 400ft higher than on that day in 1963.
