The Tariffs were introduced in the 1980's as well against Japan, it didn't work, they were able to bypass the tariffs. Tariffs fail to address the underlying issues of competitiveness and innovation. China is not Japan in the 1980's. #TrumpTariffs #TrumpRecession #TrumpTax
