@cselley Provinces would not have agreed to the Charter without it. We were a Parliamentary Democracy, Trudeau wanted court to have final say in a Constitutional Democracy. Courts now find all kind of crazy-assed things that Chief Justice Dickson missed…or are they just making crap up?
