Trump’s playbook Jan 20 1. Cut down interest rate to make budget sustainable 2. Use tariff as a “threat” to push down stock market, force capital to bond market, lower LT UST yield 3. Tariff is just an excuse, so they come up with all sort of contradictory reasons for tariff.
