The result survives on the map today. The Caprivi Strip is around 450km long but in places only about 30km wide, squeezed between Angola and Zambia to the north and Botswana to the south. At its eastern end, Namibia comes extraordinarily close to Zimbabwe. 4/n https://t.co/88IkHwfVXH
