I just learned of the S.S. Eastland tragedy which claimed 844 lives, including 22 entire families - right on the Chicago River, in the middle of the city near the Clark Street Bridge. Have you heard of this? More people died in this wreck i 1915 than died in the Chicago fire! https://t.co/IrWh7DJjgM
