लोकमान्य टिळकांनी सुरू केलेला गणेशोत्सव समाजातील विविध घटकांना एकत्र आणून सक्षम समाज घडवण्याचा प्रयत्न होता. बिभत्स गाणी, ध्वनीप्रदूषण व अश्लील नृत्य ही महाराष्ट्राची संस्कृती नव्हे. हे सांगायला आम्हा पुणेकरांना विद्यानंद बापटांसारख्या ठेकेदाराची गरज नाही. आम्ही सुज्ञ आहोतच!
