All of this is true, relevant, and should absolutely be countered. BUT, important to remember that Russia’s only restricting itself to all this ‘sub-threshold’ stuff because it fears to go *above* threshold… i.e. NATO’s deterrence against open warfare is holding, for now. 1/2
