Yesterday, US investors looked beyond the Gulf and hung their hats on thoughts that the US economy was making progress according to the FED'S Warsh and despite crippling bond yields. Europe remained in denial. Opening calls steady: FTSE +6 @ 10762, DJIA +27 @ 53088, S&P +7 @ 7673
