Venki Ramakrishnan was one of three scientists awarded the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 2009. Journalist P. Sainath once recounted in a lecture that when Ramakrishnan was asked in an interview how the education system could be improved, he replied, "I'm not qualified to comment
