I started timing my commute from work to home last year. In Sept. 2025, an 8 mile trip down a major artery in DFW beginning at 5pm took me 45 minutes. This year, same month, same route, same departure time: 20-25 minutes. It's anecdotal, but it seems like there are fewer cars.
