@captsingh This is how I was trained, as a newly minted 3rd mate on 1st bridge watch Capt, gave me a calculator and asked me the no. of crew on board and then told me to multiply by 4 and those were the no. of people whom I was responsible to. Somehow that has remained in my conscience.
