Mark Carney is paying $4.7 billion for 300 Via Rail cars, but he will build the Alto high-speed rail from Toronto to Québec City for just $90 billion? Just the Ontario subway line is already almost $40 billion! If built 30 years from now, the Alto will probably cost a Trillion.
