“PS5 launched at $399 5 years ago. Today the Steam Machine is slightly slower, but has 2.5x price tag.” Yes. A base PS5 went from $399 to $599 in 6 years. We have never seen this in 40 years of video games. As gamedevs we have to take this into account. Target 2020 hardware.
