1. God is the one who suggested Job to Satan. 2. Satan could not afflict Job without God’s permission. 3. This shows that no evil occurs outside of the sovereignty of God. 4. Finally, when Job wanted an explanation, God didn’t offer one except to remind Job who the Creator is.
