@IanDarke That highest scorer in the World Cup history should NOT count because that's a cumulative achievement over 8 years or so .. that would still have been true even if he only scored 2 with a previous 19 goals cumulatively

@IanDarke Except you can only make 3 stoppages still despite being able to make 5 subs. So your argument is flawed.
Games are fragmented due to unpunished heavy fouling because PL officiating is garbage.
And more subs protect the health of the players which is much needed given

In my admittedly old school view , 5 subs is one of the worst changes made in football. Flown in under cover of Covid. Allows managers to change half the team. No wonder second halves of games are so fragmented. 3 subs was just fine.
