Don’t blame me if you miss this one
I've been in crypto through multiple World Cups. sports betting platforms came and went. Most were scams or just worse versions of FanDuel with a token stapled on.
This one is different and i don't say that lightly. It just went public and h

Nobody talks about why mid-tier KOLs stay mid-tier.
It's not the posting frequency. Not the niche. Not even the time of day.
Very often is the writing.
Specifically, the small structural habits that make people stop reading three lines in.
Here's what it usually looks like ↓

9\ Final Reminder
Tools, budgets, trends → anyone can copy.
But your trusted KOL network → unique competitive edge.
Build relationships → not just campaigns.
Tag a marketer who still treats KOLs as line items on a spreadsheet 💀 https://t.co/oBknoGXzeu

8\ Build Your Private KOL List
Every great marketer has their private KOL CRM.
Track:
Who delivered well.
Who’s easy to work with.
Who converted users.
Who’s becoming a narrative driver.
Curate your list. It’s your moat.

7\ Be the Brand They Love
Basic but overlooked.
Pay fast.
Communicate clearly.
Respect their time.
Celebrate their wins.
Most CT teams fumble this → easy way to stand out.

6\ Involve Them in the Product
Give KOLs:
Early product access.
Beta invites.
Governance voting (if applicable).
Private feedback channels.
KOLs who feel invested create authentic content → long tail of engagement.

5\ KOLs are Humans, Not Assets
It’s not just money.
DM them alpha.
Invite them to internal Discords.
Give priority invites / WL / airdrops.
Tag them when their post performs.
Relationships > transactions

4\ Loyalty Beats One-Off Reach
CT audience fatigue is real.
Spamming 20 KOLs with 1 post each → diminishing returns.
5 trusted KOLs who genuinely like your project → 10x impact over time.
Loyalty > one-off reach.

3\ Help KOLs Win
Most teams think only about their own KPIs.
Smart ones ask: how can I make the KOL win with their audience?
Give content ideas.
Give early access → allow “alpha” positioning.
Help them tell the story better.
Make them win → they’ll push harder.

2\ Think in Terms of a KOL Flywheel
Repeat > one-off deals.
Each campaign is a chance to strengthen the relationship → next time the KOL pushes harder.
Top projects treat KOLs like community members → not freelancers.

Another critical mistake in Web3 marketing? Treating KOLs as transactional.
Products and campaigns can be copied... but NOT your network.
Here’s how to build one that pays off long term 🧵👇 https://t.co/dNdIOQ5zUv
