@DowdEdward If they had a remote chance at being profitable they would not want to be nationalized.
They are trying to get ahead of the AI bubble burst.

@DowdEdward Ed, I don't think they want to be nationalized. I think what they want what is the vaccine manufacturers have: no liability for their products. They want to be immune from liability and instead want the federal government to provide liability protection.

Very interesting interview by Alex Karp here. He’s speculating AI companies want to be nationalized for liability reasons and hints at no S1s (No IPOs). If nationalization occurs the investors are the mark…implying they get hosed.

Palantir CEO Alex Karp on what model companies are really asking for when they call for regulation and why they will be nationalized.
“It's a weird twist. They're asking for societal regulation to get out of the first line of defense, which is if you build a technology that can

Pre Covid drugs that failed the All Cause Mortality end point were not approved.
This end point on the Pfizer Covid vaccine was not released until 11/21.
Unreal and still no accountability.

@DowdEdward I don't think it's a scare (I'll read your piece later). I think we get an actual recession of sharp move and short duration. Sort of like the cyclical slowdowns of the 70's. But if Bessent and Warsh mismanage it, we'll get a 73-74 and 80-82 smash.

@DowdEdward Who would buy bonds at this point? Soon they will be totally worthless if they are not already.
