@DowdEdward I have a suspicion the top ai companies are sitting on some private information which leads them to believe ai is fundamentally limited in some way that can never be overcome. An obvious example is the hallucination problem. Last time I checked(months ago) a hallucina 1.2K views · 41 likes · 3 reposts · 9 replies Open on X →

@DowdEdward Ed, I don't think they want to be nationalized. I think what they want what is the vaccine manufacturers have: no liability for their products. They want to be immune from liability and instead want the federal government to provide liability protection. 479 views · 24 likes · 1 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

Very interesting interview by Alex Karp here. He’s speculating AI companies want to be nationalized for liability reasons and hints at no S1s (No IPOs). If nationalization occurs the investors are the mark…implying they get hosed. 119.7K views · 1.6K likes · 361 reposts · 164 replies Open on X →

@DowdEdward i think bessent buying long term bonds to prevent yield curve steepening, but its not gonna work. it will just crash the dollar. the final stage of the cycle. check mate. this is when somebody grts caught holding the bag 181 views · 4 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

@DowdEdward I don't think it's a scare (I'll read your piece later). I think we get an actual recession of sharp move and short duration. Sort of like the cyclical slowdowns of the 70's. But if Bessent and Warsh mismanage it, we'll get a 73-74 and 80-82 smash. 888 views · 5 likes · 0 reposts · 3 replies Open on X →
