I'll continue to pop in here to follow sports (this is a better platform for that) and keep contact with the cool people I've connected with, but I'm done posting new content. Thanks for everyone who helped build up this account here, I am very grateful for that!

I am going to stay active on Bluesky, where I passed my peak Twitter follower count by about 25k people, and where the vibes are much more positive and enthusiastic, and I don't have to wade through a swamp of men's rights activists, bigots, creeps, and bots. Follow me there!

Twitter now feels like my local mall when it started dying over 20 years ago. Barely anyone there, and the ones who are seem to be going through the motions. Except there, I didn't have to block people reveling in bigotry. I think at this point, I'm done posting here.

But one of the best items related to Nestle Souptime was the promotional transistor radio that you could send away for, which was shaped like a box of soup packets. Imagine walking around in public with this badboy! https://t.co/ZvUeZykbyZ

In 1979, Nestle created a spin-off line called "Bowl o' Noodles", which consisted of instant soup mixes that were absolutely LOADED with noodles...like, the bowl was 85% noodle.
