I’ve put in a written complaint, and also rang and spoke to the bank again. This time I got the kindest lady who really tried to fix what her colleague had done. Unfortunately she didn’t have the ultimate authority to remove the block on my account now

@hatpinwoman Cash is your friend. Take out as much cash as often as the bank will allow you to take out your own money. Get receipts from whoever you pay, of course. It has become our duty to bypass banks if we're not OK with them becoming our masters.
