Once found innocent, you can't have a retrial for the same crime, but if someone is found guilty they can appeal. A jury can nullify even if the prosecutor and judge think there's a case. But a jury can't convict unless there's also a prosecutor willing to prosecute and a judge willing to not dismiss.
