"Nonplussed" is one of the worst words in English because its modern meaning and its original meaning are opposites. https://t.co/7qlUIdgQ7a 179.2K views · 1.9K likes · 61 reposts · 425 replies Open on X →

Zoom (unsurprisingly) heavily promoting its AI notetaker. If you’ve used it, how’s your experience been? https://t.co/Z0ym9SiCpt 14.8K views · 12 likes · 1 reposts · 9 replies Open on X →

@shreyas @hnshah Give ChatGPT / Codex another try, it’s only going to get orders of magnitude better from here 177 views · 5 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

@shreyas I came across a post here recently that attributed at least some of this new Claude behavior to the fact that the models are now increasingly serving (and being evaluated by) other models. And I thought that was particularly interesting as a theory! 533 views · 6 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

@shreyas You still use the Claude product? Try ChatGPT for the same use cases. Might take a bit, but it's better. At least from my experience these days. My accrued memories and consistent usage might be a huge contributing factor. 1.8K views · 10 likes · 0 reposts · 2 replies Open on X →

Somewhere along the way, Claude was told to “confidently assert what you think is good for the user even if they don’t ask, assume the user is not intelligent, and use jargon that makes you sound smart as you do all of this”, which has made Claude’s new personality unbearable. 45.1K views · 402 likes · 29 reposts · 42 replies Open on X →

@shreyas I've been doing this for several weeks now. Bought a high quality scanner and then convert from PDF to .md. It's incredible. https://t.co/QoQ6wAOLIZ 3.7K views · 34 likes · 3 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

@shreyas I've often wanted Amazon to build this. Having such an integration with an LLM in the Kindle app would be absolutely incredible. 2.8K views · 17 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

@shreyas would be cool if they did this i buy on Kobo, have claude code convert to pdf and upload to NotebookLM from where I can query the books with agents. it’s not the worst once working, but takes a bit of setup 2.5K views · 12 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

I am increasingly finding the need to buy certain books within Claude / ChatGPT so it can use the book for context when I ask it to. Making this frictionless in the UI would be amazing. 93.8K views · 588 likes · 16 reposts · 85 replies Open on X →

@shreyas There was a saying in Indian culture, you point one finger of a hand at someone making a mistake, four fingers of the same hand point towards you in helping them commit that mistake at that point. Not antithesis, but a good rubric to think and act. 306 views · 3 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

@shreyas Not sure if it falls under the same principle, but wanted to check the idea on The Courage to be Disliked - It is a great book to self reflect one's own priors and behavioural choices but not intended to analyze or judge choices of others, which we usually end up doing. 331 views · 1 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →
