Repatha is a pcsk9 inhibitor (drug name evolocumab). Lowers ApoB by blocking a natural protein called PCSK9 in circulation. Blocking this protein results in a greater number of LDL receptors on the liver which in turn results in greater clearance of ApoB containing lipoproteins
