Crazy statistical illiteracy. Garg compares this year’s new-series GDP with last year’s old-series GDP! He gets 2.6% nominal. Congress then sells that as 2.6% real growth. If you change the base year and the methodology, you do not freeze last year’s Q1. Either restate both
