@KakarotZkEvm gotta hand it to rand, zama not being able to build a fhe chain in any form and buying a zk chain instead to have at least “something” tangible is a solid business decision

@KakarotZkEvm I love that you built a zkVM for Brainfuck though, that’s art. 😂

FibRace by Hyli and @KakarotZkEvm was more than a game.
It was the first large-scale benchmark of client-side proving on mobile devices.
6,047 players, 99 countries, 2.1M+ proofs generated client-side.
Let's dive into the results🧵 ⬇️ https://t.co/Crj8ZsQlux

The numbers from FibRace🏁⚡
2,195,488 proofs generated
5,156 players across 1,420 unique device models
~333 billion Cairo M cycles proven on consumer hardware
Median end-to-end proving time: 6.37 seconds
Real proofs. Real devices. Real conditions.

Synthetic benchmarks are one thing. Real-world performance is what actually matters.
So with the help of @hyli_org, we ran FibRace: a public client-side proving campaign on everyday phones and tablets to see how Cairo M performs IRL.
The results exceeded expectations 💥

Cairo M has the lowest memory consumption among compared zkVMs.
This matters. Consumer devices are constrained by RAM. A zkVM that uses too much memory simply can't generate proofs locally, regardless of how fast it is.
Cairo M is best-in-class on both metrics. https://t.c

The benchmarks speak for themselves.
Cairo M achieves up to 10x speedups vs. Cairo on Fibonacci and SHA-256 tasks. Fastest zkVM in prover time across standard benchmarks.
But proving time isn't the only bottleneck for consumer devices. Memory is. https://t.co/BKbezN3cDH

We designed Cairo M from the ground up for client-side proving:
• Custom ISA and memory model optimized for CPUs
• Built on @StarkWareLtd's STWO prover
• Domain-specific language inspired by Cairo, Rust, and C++
• Compiler that generates optimized assembly instructions

The mission: bring privacy-enhancing technologies to consumer devices. Not just in theory. In practice.
Cairo M is a zkVM that proves computations locally on your phone or tablet. State-of-the-art performance. Minimal memory consumption. Built for real-world conditions.

The Frontier zkVM Built For Your Phone: Cairo M is live.
After building the first zkVM for Brainfuck, we leveraged everything we learned to create something bigger: a zero-knowledge virtual machine optimized for client-side proving on everyday devices.
