MJF founder Jimmy Lyons was born on this day in 1916. Born in China to the son of a missionary, Jimmy's musical career began as a DJ and radio producer in SoCal, NYC, Armed Forces Radio, and SF. Jimmy and Ralph Gleason founded MJF in 1958. Today we celebrate him and his vision. h
